Competitors like Avira and McAfee both have vulnerability scanners that flag out-of-date software, but X-ploit Resilience is a little bit more intuitive. It unobtrusively installs updates to your software, automatically patching potential vulnerabilities on your device. I also like the X-ploit Resilience feature. Heimdal’s malware scanner scored an impressive 98% detection rating during my testing, and I appreciate how little system slowdown I experienced during most of Heimdal’s system scans. Heimdal is a decent anti-malware solution for Windows, macOS, and Android that provides some advanced protections, but it also has some annoying bugs - overall, it’s not a great value compared to top antivirus suites like Norton and Bitdefender that provide more security features for less money.
